The Canyonlands Tour

Highlights of The Canyonlands Tour:

There will be great open road riding on this tour,
plus unique sites like the London Bridge and
Tuzigoot National Monument - and Jerome, AZ.
We get breathtaking views from curving mountain roads,
and from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Shop for Indian jewelry in Sedona and Flagstaff,
and enjoy the splendid natural beauty of Monument Valley,
Natural Bridges, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.
From southwest Utah we then blast
back through the desert to Las Vegas, the end of
our one-week visual spectacle in Arizona, Utah and Nevada.

More mountain riding this morning, through the old mining town of Jerome to Tuzigoot National Monument.  On into Red Rocks country and a stop at Sedona.  North we ride through Oak Creek Canyon, listed as one of the "ten most beautiful rides in the USA" to Flagstaff.  We continue north through Kaibab National Forest to Grand Canyon Village.

Day 4 – Wednesday – Grand Canyon Village to Bluff, UT - 235 miles

We'll spend some time enjoying the Grand Canyon this morning, then cruise along the south rim to the Painted Desert and into the Navajo Nation.  We'll ride from Tuba City to Kayenta, an area made famous by Tony Hillerman.  Up through Monument Valley we go, past Mexican Hat to Bluff.

Day 5 – Thursday – Bluff to Boulder, UT - 233 miles

Cruising through incredible open country today, our first stop is at Natural Bridges National Monument.  We'll ride down through Cataract Canyon as we cross over the Colorado River, then pass by the Henry Mountains and along the Freemont River, finally through magnificent Capitol Reef National Park and on into Boulder.

Day 6 – Friday – Boulder to Springdale, UT - 232 miles

Out we ride into more spectacular country today, beautiful back roads take us first to magnificent Bryce Canyon National Park.  We will ride the full length of the park, stopping at several incredible view points.  Following this we ride through even more beautiful Zion National Park on our way to St. George, with a stop at Zion Harley-Davidson.
